An extractor fan is excellent at helping to help remove moisture and unwanted odours from your home or office. Our extensive range has got you covered with products available in a range of styles and colours to suit all room sizes and locations, the right extractor will help to prevent unwanted steam from lingering and to help avoid damp problems.
At Sunny Electrical Supplies we stock a number of different extractor fans, be they axial fans, Centrifugal Fans or in-line fans.
For entry level fans we have two options. Both are Axial fans. The Manrose XF100T is a firm favourite as a cheap and cheerful extractor fan for any toilet or bathroom. Following that we have the Xpelair DX100TS 93026AW, which is Xpelair’s option that we keep. It comes with solid ducting and an external grille too.
As a midrange fan, Xpelair also offer as part of the Simply Silent Ghost range, the Xpelair C4HTSR 078360 which is again an axial fan, but has a Humidity sensor and timer built in and comes with a square and round bezel in the box.
When it comes to centrifugal fans, the Premier CF20TX. Premier universal centrifugal extract fans feature variable extract performances that can be configured at installation for condensation and air quality control in toilet, bathroom, utility room and kitchen applications.
We will be adding more fans to our range including the Airflow Icon fans.
A consumer unit, also known as a fuse board or electrical fusebox, distributes electricity from the mains supply to individual circuits around a property. It acts as the control centre for the power supply while helping to prevent electrical shocks and fires, as each circuit is monitored and will trip the system if any overloads are detected. A distribution board typically includes a main switch which can be used to manually turn the power off and on if required to isolate the supply. Various devices be them RCBO’s or MCB’s are then fitted according to the requirements of the building and the occupants.
With everyone looking for the cheapest board possible, Crabtree have launched a new populated Consumer Unit which comes loaded with SPD and RCBO’s and is very cost effective when compared to the likes of Fusebox and Live.

The Crabtree Platinum range offers a modern contemporary design, whilst being easy to fit and benefit from concealed fixings. They are a perfect first or second fix solution and offer wide concave rockers. The positive drive switch action prevents balancing between the on and off position which gives a reliable view of the contact position.
Trend wise, the clear favourite among the customers is the Satin Chrome range, but we are again seeing the polished brass come back in to fashion.
Why do we sell the Crabtree Platinum range over other cheaper ranges?
The answer is plain and simple. Quality! We recently supplied a different brand to a regular customer of ours purely based on price. Once they had complete the job, they rang us and explicitly told us, “If I ask for that range again, DON’T supply them to me!”
He said the plates could be pulled off by hand once fitted, the overall feel was cheap compared to the Crabtree. He said himself, “Buy cheap, buy twice!”
If you are looking at a cheaper range than the Crabtree Platinum Screwless Range, our advice would be to maybe not look at a screwless range and look at decorative screwed range like the BG Nexus.

Rolec have a number of chargers but we list their most popular offerings. The Rolec4020 is their flagship charger. The Rolec EVON0090 is the most cost effective offering. BG also have thrown their foot in to the EV Charging ring with their SyncEV range. The EVS7G is a good offering and is very price competitive.
